I'm bubbly, upbeat, and always excited to meet someone new. I do love a cozy sweater, especially one with pockets, but boring and dry I am not.

Portland is home. I know my neighbors, we look out for each other, and whenever someone needs a hand, people rush to fill the space. That's what community means to me. I started Sterling Blue because I genuinely want to help people succeed, and a high tide raises all ships.

I spent twenty years in banking before moving into accounting twelve years ago. Banking taught me how people really spend their money and how to read whether a business is thriving or struggling. It also taught me how to take care of people, and along the way I won multiple awards for customer service and customer reviews.

What I love most about this work is the puzzle. Numbers never lie, and when your books are right, you can make decisions based on facts instead of guesses. I take time to understand the shape of your books first, then I dive in.

Bookkeeping is the day-to-day work that keeps a business running. Your CPA handles taxes, and I keep the everyday books in good shape so we can each do what we do best.
